The west coast of southern Peninsular Malaysia
Before 2007 is over, I wanted to explore the southern
part of Peninsular Malaysia (Johor state of Malaysia) again. This time I went
there with Herman & Lim. Three of us spent our first 2 days in the west coast &
then on the 3rd day, we explored some new areas & revisiting some old places in
the east coast of Johor.
Many thanks to Herman & Lim for this unforgettable trip in 2007!!!
Before going to Johor, I spent 2 days in the concrete jungle of Malaysia : Kuala
Lumpur city. Nothing to explore, except buying books & I window shopping.
The night scenery of Kuala Lumpur.

A river in southern Peninsular Malaysia:

First time in my life for seeing such a big population
of Cryptocoryne nurii (aquatic aroid; foreground) in Peninsular Malaysia
!!!

This beautiful loach from blackwater swamp....Lepiodcephalichthys
sp. (at first I thought it was Kottelatlimia katik;
probably it's Lepiodcephalichthys tomaculum)

Lepiodcephalichthys tomaculum ???

Pig-tailed Macaque (Macaca nemestrina)
