Petra Jaya is located in the northern part of Kuching. Most of the administrative offices of Sarawak state government are there.

Sungai Pedaun is a tributary of Sungai Sarawak Kanan.
A wasp & it's nest. To capture the image of this wasp guarding the nest, I had to disturb the nest and moved backward. Luckily, it was attacking my camera's lens. After that, it flew back and guarding the nest. Then I moved back to the position about 10cm or less from the nest to take this macro shot. It is always fun & exciting to photograph wild fauna!
