HIKING AT PENRISSEN AREA
Dec 5, 2008. It was a bad idea to hike in the muddy trail during the rainy
season, but it was really fun for exploring in a new location. We found a milky
white coloured river which the water contains dissolved calcium carbonate.
It's also a surveying trip because I will be back to climb the limestone hill to
search for Nepenthes northiana (pitcher plant which was thought to be as
endemic species to Bau area only in the past) and others flora & fauna.
