Night sky of Padawan
Date : May 9, 2006
In order to take the night photography, I purposely drove 1 hour from my home to the countryside at Padawan area last night. It was almost the full moon, so the night scenery was very bright like a day light. I was using ML-L3 remote control to control the shutter release button of my Nikon D50. Focal length is 18mm, exposure time is in between 5 minutes to 15 minutes at f/8. ISO is 400. (I forgot to re set to ISO200). EV is in between +0.3 to +2.
Except the first picture, the rest were taken in between 9pm to 11pm at Padawan.
Pix # 1 : The moon (6.45pm)

Pix # 2 : The moon & the stars. ( around 11pm) - the exposure time for this shot is less than 2 minutes.

Pix # 3 : The tree & the stars. The very bright star in the center is actually one of the planets from our solar system.....I am not sure which planet, probably Jupitar????

Pix # 4 : The country road at night.

Pix # 5 : The mountain & the night sky.

Pix # 6 : Long exposure "created" the "tails" of the stars. (NOT camera shake)

Pix # 7 : The rainforest at night.
