NO MAN'S LAND ( pugu expedition - page 2 )
After taking the photos, we decided to pay a visit to this remote village. A friendly villager came out to greet us and showing us around the school compound. We're so surprised to see the school was well maintained and clean. He explained to us the meaning of "pugu". In Malay, "pugu" means the tree without the leaf. It is the most suitable name to call this village as "pugu" since there are a lot of dead trees in this area. Most of the trees were burnt down natural as the land was too dry.
