THE SARAWAK WAY OF MOON CAKE FESTIVAL

Location : Carpenter street, Kuching city, Sarawak , Malaysia BORNEO.

 

Moon cake festival is celebrated by Chinese all around the world every year on the month of eight of Chinese lunar calender. In Kuching, Carpenter street is closed for traffic about one week before the moon cake festival. There, hawkers from different races background selling the delicious local food (especially the moon cake) on the street. Different races of dancers & musicians are performing on the street. This is truly the Sarawak way of Moon Cake festival !!!
