REDEVELOPMENT OF KUCHING INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Location : Southern part of Kuching city
The construction for redevelopment of Kuching International Airport is almost completed. The airport terminal expected to be completed by April 2006. The runway extension will be completed in later date. The existing runway is 2,454m. The new runway will extend another 1,326m. Soon, this airport will be the second largest airport in Malaysia which capable of handling the full operation of bigger aircraft such as Boeing 747.
