DAY 1 - Surveying a blackwater river near the road to Seri Aman
A cloudy day.....
A blackwater river. There is a big population of Barclaya motleyi growing in this river. Blyxa sp. is spotted near the culvert. In the foreground of the picture below is Lasia sp. (Aroid)

Tufted jungle king (Thauria aliris) - It feeds on rotten fruits. The one below is sucking the water on the surface of a leaf.
