Bau - Jambusan area is a limestone hill area.
All the plants are covered by a layer of mud which was washed down to the streams/rivers by flash flood recently due to heavy rainfall. The water level is at least 2 metres high, by observing the water mark left by the flood. (Raining almost every afternoon in South Sarawak since March until early May)

A jungle stream flowing pass the limestone. Puntius kuchingensis & Rasbora caudimaculata are found abundantly here.
