There are a few types of forest in Borneo. The main 4 types are : lowland rainforest, montane forest, inland swamp forest and mangrove forest. Due to the development, shifting agriculture, commercial logging and clearing land for large scale agriculture, more and more forests in Borneo have been disappeared.
