FAIRY CAVE

Fairy cave is located at the southern part of Bau town. It was known as Gua Kapor in the past. The main entrance to the cave is at the southern part of Gunung Kapor. It is a good spot for rock climbing. Some people come to this cave to worship the rocks inside the cave because they believe there is the "home'' of some fairies. Hence they called that cave as "fairy cave".

Before visiting Niah cave, I thought this is the biggest cave I ever seen. (The cave in Mulu National Park even bigger than Niah cave)

Most of the insects living in the dark cave got very long legs. The one below is a cave spider !

Someone changed the content of the notice board. It should be read as " To fairy cave summit, beware of steep and slippery rock. Please keep to the ??? (left ??). 1 (walking) hour."
