According to a middle-aged local, there was not crocodile attack since he was born in a longhouse near Baram river. However, in this year, 2005, an old man was badly injured by the crocodile when he was fishing near the river and not long after that, a young boy was attacked & killed by the crocodile!!! It was a shocking news to the people living nearby the river.
