ASSOM WATERFALL
Location : Southern Padawan, near Sarawak-Kalimantan border
Date: Nov. 6th, 2005
In this photography series, I'm using both Nikon D50 & Fujifinepix S5000 to photograph this beautiful waterfall.
This is a trip organized by Sarawak Photography Society.
Bamboo bridge crossing.
The rest stop by the river. This clear water river is a tributary of Sungai Semadang.
This is one of the waterfalls near Sarawak-Kalimantan border.
Assom waterfall. There are a lot of beautiful waterfalls in Sarawak-Kalimantan border. This is not the tallest waterfall in this area.
An interesting rock at the waterfall.

On the foreground is the giant ariod, Alocasia robusta.

The leaf of an unidentified species of vine.
Bucephalandra motleyana - According to a botanist, this species is a close relative for Piptospatha.
The flower is white colored.
