WILD FIGHTING FISH OF BORNEO

Borneo island is the only place on earth where you can find so many beautiful species of wild fighting fish. (Betta sp.) Below are photos taken at a local fish shop in Kuching, western Borneo.
Betta channoides (male) - from southern Kalimantan of Borneo.
Betta channoides (female)
Betta macrostoma - from northern Sarawak, north western Borneo.
Betta ocellata - this species from Kalimantan. Also can be found in Tawau, Sabah of northern Borneo.
Betta patoti - from east Kalimantan.
Other fish : Killi fish ( Aphysemion australe "Orange" ,also known as Orange Lyretail ) from Africa. This is a male.
Apisto. sp. from South America.
